DOMINO Spumante Brut Rosé | Latest Vintage | Box

One glass leads to another

The label of our Domino features a cartoon by Pulitzer Prize winner Rube Goldberg, depicting a convoluted domino effect culminating in a popped bottle. The illustration ironically describes the heterogeneity, the intricate mechanism, and the creativity behind the creation of each wine. But "domino effect" also has another meaning: once you open a bottle, you can't help but open another. How did we get permission to use the cartoon? Giuseppe met the author's granddaughter and went to knock on the door of her house in New York. She agreed on condition that we send her 10 boxes of Dominoes once a year! Our rosé presents itself with a delicate pink color, tending towards orange. On the nose, it expresses a fine and delicate bouquet, with pleasant floral and fruity notes. On the palate, it is dry and pleasantly fresh. In short, it is irresistible: after all, it is a child of Grignolino.

Pairings

We could spend a day recounting all the situations in which Domino is the perfect choice. Here are a few ideas and a challenge: how long will your list of pairings become after trying it? Raw fish, margherita pizza, pizza filled with mortadella and stracciatella cheese, spaghetti with sautéed cherry tomatoes, croutons with sausage, stracchino cheese, and pomegranate seeds, vegetable terrine, homemade chips, fried zucchini flowers.
