Cantico della Crosia was born from a visionary dream: in 1992, my father Diego Visconti decided to create the first great Barbera of Monferrato Casalese. It wasn't just about making wine but celebrating the essence of a grape that, on our hills, reaches a unique structure and freshness.

What makes Cantico so special?
It is a work of passion and respect for the land. Each sip tells the story of our territory, with its fertile soils, privileged exposures, and a climate that shapes unique, long-lasting wines full of emotion.

The vintages for tasting:

• 2019: This vintage closes one of the hottest decades in the last 60 years in Piedmont but stands out for above-average rainfall. The result? A powerful, balanced wine with immense aging potential.
• 2018: Like 2019, this was a hot and rainy year, characterized by low fog and humidity, resulting in healthy, concentrated grapes. The result is a wine that expresses Barbera's best qualities.
• 2017: Awarded the Tre Bicchieri by Gambero Rosso, this vintage brought Cantico to extraordinary heights, with freshness and spicy notes that make it unique among Italy's great reds.
